Onsite Senior Accountant Background: The client is a US fashion brand and brought elegance, texture and excitement to American design since 1960s. They have over 40 offices across the world. Responsibilities: 1. Direct Report to Finance Director in Shanghai office 2. Quick learning of the company’s business model and operation processes and have the overview ability of Balance Sheet and detailed accounts. 3. Review the PRC Accounts each month and ensure the accuracy and integrity. 4. Ensure the accurate the timely reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts, including bank, payroll and social taxes, inventory, overseas suppliers’ accounts and other accrual and pre-paid accounts, with supporting schedules and documentation. 5. Be responsible for the comprehensive monthly management financial accounts pack including such as P&L, Expenses, balance sheet, and commentary on material variances vs budget, last year and latest estimation, etc… 6. Review of the tax compliance status, filings and reporting if needed 7. Willing to take challenges and to learn more. This person will be under your instruction and training and can work under certain level of pressure. 8. Preparation of quarterly forecast and annual budget and provide analysis for quarterly forecast and annual budget if needed. 9. Provide effective financial control by assisting the Director to establish and implement appropriate accounting controls and procedures and ensure compliance with requirements with internal controls. 10. Provide required support on major process improvement initiatives and projects if needed. 11. Other ad-hoc work assigned by Directors Requirements: 1. Bachelor degree or above in financial management or accounting 2. 3-5 years GL experience and fund accounting experience or public accounting experience with funds will be a plus; 3. Good verbal and written communication skills - English 4. Advanced computer skills 5. Intermediate accounting certificate or other CPA certification will be preferred 5. Proficient in using accounting software and other system
